Fabric MicroPore Size Analyzer


(ASTM F316, ASTM D6767)

Pore Size Distribution (Absolute/Nominal Micron Rating) of technical fabrics is a key performance indicator. M19 lab offers an ASTM-based MicroPore Size analyzing for analysing pore sizes of various types of technical & coated fabrics upto 0.1 microns . The MicroPore Analyzer is majorly leveraged for product performance improvement, research & development, and various QA/QC purposes.

Hydrostatic Pressure Head Analyzer


(AATCC 127, AAMI PB70, EN 13795, ISO 811)

It is a primary requirement that the fabric for medical gowns should be waterproof and breathable (air & water vapor permeable) to provide better protection and comfort for healthcare personnel.The Hydrostatic Pressure test evaluates a material’s resistance to water penetration. One side of the specimen is challenged directly with the D.I water and the reverse side is observed for fluid penetration. The hydrostatic pressure at which fluid penetration occurs in three distinct areas of the specimen is recorded using direct observation and A.I based Image recognition tools.

Synthetic Blood Penetration Analyzer


(ISO 22609, ASTM F1862, ASTM F2100, EN 14683)

Synthetic Blood Penetration Analyzer determines the resistance of penetration by the synthetic blood under the different levels of test pressure to medical protective clothing.The device can provide the body fluid simulant (synthetic blood) with a specified time and pressure at which the penetration occurs in three distinct areas of the specimen are recorded using direct observation and A.I based Image recognition tools. It is suitable for testing PPE Coveralls materials used by workers in healthcare profession who can be exposed to biological liquids capable of transmitting disease.

Air Permeability measures how easily air is passed through filter or fabric. It is described as the rate of airflow passing perpendicular through a known woven/ nonwoven media area under a prescribed air pressure differential between the two surfaces of material.Improving air permeability performance levels is a complex continuous improvement process. It involves the measurement of complex, yet critical material characteristics like fabric structure, porosity, vapor transmission rate, and much more.
